When Success Starts Costing You Too Much

When Success Starts Costing You Too Much (Bonus Ep.)

Bonus Episode - When Success Starts Costing You Too Much
Sandi Edghill

In this episode, I explore an important question: What is your current definition of success costing you?

I reflect on her own experience of building a successful career, raising a family, serving, leading, and accomplishing, while learning that being able to carry everything does not always mean that everything is sustainable.

Drawing from themes in my book, The Road Undefined: A Woman's Guide to Leading with Authenticity, I share why the road that brought you this far may not be the road you are meant to continue traveling. Changing direction does not mean you have failed. Sometimes it means you have become honest about what you need in this season of your life.

In this episode, I talk about:

• Recognizing when success is beginning to cost you too much
• Why work-life wellness is not about achieving perfect balance
• Redefining what you are willing to sacrifice in the name of success
• Taking one small step toward creating a life that feels as good as it looks

Your Edge Work for the Week

Take five minutes this week and ask yourself:

What is my current definition of success costing me?

Then ask:

What is one small thing I can change this week that would make my success feel more like the life I actually want to live?

You do not have to give up your ambition to take care of yourself. You do not have to stop achieving or make yourself smaller. But your success should not require you to lose yourself in order to maintain it.
