Building a Business on Mutual Respect

Today's message comes from Patricia Bivens, co-owner of The Carriage Suite, the premier black-owned luxury baby carriage boutique in Harlem, New York.

Patricia reflects on the love and mutual respect she shares with her business partner, Robin. Despite warnings from others that conflicts were inevitable in business partnerships, Patricia and Robin have maintained a strong, respectful relationship. They support each other's decisions and give each other space to learn from mistakes without judgment.

Their partnership is built on unspoken trust and understanding. They have developed a deep bond that allows them to work together harmoniously and navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship with grace.
